Lineup Change -   Soak's show at Nectar's was also Jason's last show with the band. Jason has decided to step away in order to focus on other areas of his life that are needing him at this time. We wish him the best. At this point, we are moving forward as a 3-piece band.

The schedule of Soak shows has not been impacted by this change and Troy, Chris, and Matty have been hard at work collaborating on several new tracks that you may have already started to hear if you've been at their recent shows. Keep an ear out for new tracks like Puddin', City Heartache, Simplify, and more that are yet to have titles. Be sure to let the band know what you think!

Shaskeen - December also saw Soak being featured in the Shaskeen's Thursday Night Original Music residency series. These shows were alot of fun for the band and allowed them to show off their new 3-piece format. Watch the web site(s) for some tracks from the 12/28/06 show which was recorded in both audio and video. Soak hopes to see you back at the Shaskeen for more dates in 2007 very soon.
New Year's Jam! - Soak closed out the year in style with Duty Free and The Soupbone Throne at the Dover Brickhouse in Dover, NH. This show was an absolute blast and The Brickhouse was jam-packed for this sold-out night. Whether people came on the chartered bus from Manchester, or arrived locally, an awesome time was had by all.

Thanks for all the great feedback on the radio spot that was run for the show as well. If you didn't hear it, we must admit that you must not listen to the radio in NH, since it was run almost every hour for two weeks on 4 stations!

Special thanks to headliner's Duty Free for having the guys kick the night off right. Be sure to watch this spring for Duty Free's DVD they recorded that night as well!

------>>>>> Jillian's - Manch-Vegas!: Consider yourselves not only formally invited, but requested to attend our upcoming show on 1/27/07 at Jillian's in Manchester. It's hard to believe it's been almost 4 months since our last Jillian's show. We want the place packed!!!!!

------>>>>> Back To The Brickhouse - Soak will be returning to the seacoast on Feb. 9th at The Dover Brickhouse in Dover, NH. We'll be opening up the night for the up and coming band, Oddway at their CD release party for this region of the country. We want to see all of you there to support Soak and to check out Oddway!

For more show details, please be sure to visit our Gigs page on the web site for setlists, photos, show notes, and any available audio and/or video recordings that we've decided to post from the shows
Thanks!: Special thanks to ALL OF YOU for a great year in 2006. It's hard to believe all that's happened in 2006 for Soak when we think back to where we were a year ago. We appreciate the support of all the Soak fans old and new and we're looking forward to an even better year in 2007!

Press: Soak was featured in the 12/08/06 edition of the Manchester Hippo. If you didn't catch that one, the band will be featured again in the upcoming 01/25/07 edition of the Hippo and is also being interviewed by The Lowell Sun in the near future as well. Be sure to check out these editions!

Notes: Soak Album - Be sure to get your copy of our latest studio recorded tracks when you come to our upcoming shows! The CD of these songs came out great and we can't wait to get more tracks recorded as we move through 2007.

Booking Assistance - As the band has gotten busier over the past few months, we're decided to enlist the assistance of Dawn at DD Entertainment for our booking needs, etc. Please contact her directly at : Dawn@soakmusic.com or call 603-702-1525 if you have questions on currently booked dates or if you'd like to schedule new ones.

Help: Cue The Lights: Soak is still in need of a sound and lighting person. If this is the type of thing you enjoy, and particularly if you have any experience in this area, give us a shout at bookings@soakmusic.com . It would be especially helpful if you had lighting equipment of your own. This need will be opening up in the near future and we'd like to hear from anyone interested in being considered.......

We Need You! If you have a venue in your area that you haven't seen us play yet, let us know about it. And most importantly, be sure to let any area venues that you regularly attend, that you want to see them bring Soak in for more dates!

Be sure to tell ALL your friends about Soak as well. It's great hearing from new listeners in e-mail or on MySpace, etc. We've recently been picking up some listeners / fans in North Carolina, Texas, California, and Florida. Keep it up!!!! Every new listener helps! And, as always, thanks for your support!

As always, don't forget to register in our discussion forums to communicate with the band and/or discuss anything music related. There are new forums there as well tailored to general music and local music as well. Another site, nhtunes.com was a great resource for this type of discussion. Since it was taken down, it has left a void for that, so feel free to use our site for your discussions if you like....
